The Faculty of Education extends congratulations to Distinguished University Scholar and Professor Dr. Patricia Vertinsky, recipient of the Roberta J. Park Award for Scholarly Distinction awarded by the North American Society for Sport History (NASSH). Dr. Vertinsky is recognized for her exceptional research contributions enhancing the understanding and appreciation of sport from a historical perspective. She is an historian of physical culture exploring the world of fitness, sport, physical activity and physical education across the last two centuries, in a transnational context.
