The Dean opened the Graduate Student Lecture by welcoming Indigenous Scholars, Drs. Linda Tuhiwai Smith and Bridgette Masters-Awartere to the UBC First Nations Longhouse as they presented on their work of decolonizing research practices and the development and implementation of interventions for Indigenous well-being, respectively.
